This  collection of work has been selected from “plein air” and studio paintings done over the past few years.

           The pursuit of a successful painting to an artist can truly be one of life’s most challenging and humbling experiences. To discover just the right balance between what I literally see and what I’m actually capable of achieving with oil paint and a brush on canvas can be artistic mystery. Countless hours of observing, searching, mixing and painting in adverse weather conditions, often times in complete solitude are all part of the process. However, on a number of my painting excursions I’ve  had the opportunity to paint with many talented artists which have provided inspiration and camaraderie along the way. I’ve also been very fortunate to travel to a variety of amazing environments and locations. It is these inaccessible and remote places that I want to share with my viewers and to let them experience that distinctive moment in time.
